Mass Intention Booking Guidelines for 2027

Please review the guidelines below before submitting your requests.

Mass Booking Guidelines:

Limits on 4:30pm & 10am Masses: To give everyone a fair opportunity, we’re limiting bookings for the popular 4:30pm Saturday Vigil Mass and Sunday 10AM to one per set of requests.

Limit: You may book up to three Masses per week, with the option of having one 4pm Mass or one 10am. You may book a second group of intentions after waiting two weeks.

Number of Masses per Year: You may request one weekend Mass and one weekday Mass per year for each individual (living or deceased), subject to availability.

2027 Masses (January-June): On November 4th, the book will open only for mass bookings for the first six months of the year. Bookings for the second half of 2027 (July through December) will begin in June, with the exact date to be announced in the bulletin.

Unannounced Masses: If your preferred date is unavailable, we can accommodate unannounced Masses. These intentions are fulfilled by our priests during Nursing Home Masses, and other commitments, with the fulfilled intentions published in the bulletin. In 2025, our priests completed 431 unannounced masses.

Pastoral Care Masses: Canon Law requires that one Mass every Sunday and on Holy Days of Obligation

must be scheduled for the intentions of our parishioners (Pro Populo). Canon Law prohibits scheduling of multiple ‘stipend’ intentions for one Mass. We are working to divide these masses between St. Anne, Holy Family, and North American Martyrs Parishes.

Donation: The suggested donation for a Mass Intention is $10.00

Sanctuary Candles:

We also offer the opportunity to light a Sanctuary Candle in memory of a loved one. The candle burns for a month and will be announced at each of our weekend Masses. You can request a candle to be lit the donation for a Sanctuary Candle is $25.00.
